Sexual Health Clinics
Huron Perth Public Health offers sexual health clinics where you can access:
- sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing and treatment
- assessment and treatment of genital rashes, sores, bumps
- condoms
- low-cost birth control
- birth control prescription
- IUS/IUD insertion or removal
- pregnancy testing and options counselling
- emergency contraception (morning after pills)
- pap testing
- referrals to other healthcare specialists
All of our services are confidential. There is no appointment fee and most services are provided at no cost or low cost.
Clinics are by appointment only. Harm reduction supplies and naloxone kits, for yourself or a loved one, or anyone that you know may be in need are also available.

Test results
How long does it take to get my results?
Most STI test results take about one week to come back. We will contact you only if the result is positive.
What happens if the test result is positive?
A public health nurse will follow up with you and discuss diagnosis, treatment, and management options. We can help you notify your partner(s) so they can be tested and treated to prevent any further spread of infection.
