Huron Perth Public Health (HPPH) is looking for a dog involved in an incident in Stratford on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at around 12:30 p.m. The incident took place on Franklin Drive in Stratford.  

The heat warning issued by Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) on June 17 remains in effect for much of Ontario, including Huron Perth. Dangerously hot and humid conditions will continue through the rest of the week and into the weekend.

A bat in Stratford has tested positive for the rabies virus. This is the first bat to test positive in Huron Perth this year.
